Budapest, Hungary is actually a union of Buda, Óbuda and Pest, formerly different towns. It is also often called “Paris of the East”. Budapest is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. It is home to elaborate, historic and vibrant architecture and numerous tourist spots to visit.
I have to be honest, I wasn’t prepared for how beautiful the city is. From visiting the Hungarian Parliament to dipping into natural thermal baths which is something very prominent about Budapest. You’ll surely love this city like I did!
Tourist spots to visit and things to do:
Take memorable snapshots in the city’s beautiful unique churches like Matthias Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica.
Don’t forget to visit the popular Chain Bridge over the River Danube. It was on my travel bucket list because it was made more popular by the K-drama, “Doctor Stranger”.
The Hungarian Parliament Building
Situated in the edge of the River Danube, this architectural splendour attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. Inside it is a museum, library and offices. It’s one of the most beautiful buildings not only in the city, but in the country!
built in Gellért Hill Cave is also a sight you must not miss. It’s specially set inside a natural cave and that’s one reason why it’s distinctly attractive.
Truly one of the most attractive cities in the world, Budapest became one of my best travels in an instant!
The famous natural thermal baths or hot spring spa baths in Budapest is a great way to end the trip!
There are many of these in Budapest, so make sure you don’t miss this experience.
Though my stay in Budapest was quick, it was filled with many memories in the form of photos that will always remind me how beautiful the city is. Among my many sojourns in different cities, I can truly say that Budapest is one of the best.
